Addis Ababa, February 14, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed met with representatives of Ethiopian Diaspora living in the Middle East countries.
More than 250 participants attended the meeting which focused on current national issues and other social issues.
Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed arrived yesterday in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a three-day visit.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation received the PM and his accompanying delegation at the presidential flight airport in Abu Dhabi.
The PM and Sheikh Abdullah discussed friendship ties and cooperation between the UAE and Ethiopia and ways to enhance them in all fields during a meeting, which also tackled a number of issues of mutual interest.
The accompanying delegation of the Prime Minister included First Lady, Zinash Tayachew, Minister of Peace, Muferiat Kamil, Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr. Hirut Kassaw and Minister of Revenues, Adanech Abebe.
